Volunteer Application & Portal Terms of Service

1. Purpose of Volunteer Participation

Welcome to Health Matters Clinic (“HMC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all volunteers, applicants, and users who access our Volunteer Application, Volunteer Portal, or participate in any HMC programs, events, or services.

By submitting your application or accessing the volunteer system, you agree to these Terms.

Volunteers support HMC’s mission of helping communities access free health services, mental wellness support, street medicine outreach, and educational programs.
Volunteers are not employees and are not entitled to wages, benefits, or compensation.

2. Eligibility

To volunteer with HMC, you must:

4. Attendance & Inactivity Policy

Volunteers may encounter sensitive information related to clients, community members, or internal operations.

6. Media, Photography & Testimonial Consent (Opt-out)

Consent is given through automatic opt-in, HMC may use photos, videos, or stories from volunteer activities for:

7. Intellectual Property

All materials, content, graphics, training guides, photographs, or digital assets created while performing volunteer duties become the property of Health Matters Clinic.

8. Data & Communications Consent

By applying, volunteers agree to receive:

9. Code of Conduct

Volunteers agree to maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.

By participating in HMC activities, volunteers acknowledge that events may involve outdoor settings, physical movement, or unpredictable conditions. Volunteers agree to:
