Health Matters Clinic is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles that breaks down barriers to healthcare for underserved communities. We provide mobile health clinics, mental wellness programming, health education, and advocacy work—all at no cost to participants. We believe healthcare is a human right.
Everyone. We serve anyone who needs healthcare support, regardless of insurance status, immigration status, housing status, ability to pay, or documentation. No one is ever turned away.
We don't bill insurance. All our services are provided free of charge to community members. This removes financial barriers and ensures everyone can access care.
Yes. We're funded through grants, donations, and community partnerships. You will never receive a bill for HMC services.
Our primary site is Curtis Tucker Center in Inglewood (123 W. Manchester Blvd). We also provide mobile outreach to Skid Row and are expanding to Compton (Winter 2025), Palmdale, and Long Beach (2026). See our Events calendar for specific clinic locations and schedules.
Pop-up clinic schedules vary by location. Most clinics operate 10am-2pm on designated dates. Wellness meetups typically happen evenings or weekends. Check our Events page for current schedules.
Not currently. We operate mobile and pop-up clinics to bring healthcare directly to communities. This model removes transportation barriers and meets people where they are.

We operate pop-up clinics and mobile health outreach staffed by licensed healthcare providers (nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners). We provide screenings, preventive care, acute illness treatment, chronic disease management, and referrals to ongoing care. We partner with government agencies and community clinics for specialty services and continuity of care.

Our Care Navigators help connect you to primary care providers, specialty clinics, and community health centers that offer sliding-scale or free services. We provide warm referrals and follow-up support to ensure you get the care you need.
Yes. We offer mental health screenings, support groups, wellness meetups, and referrals to culturally competent therapists and mental health centers. We also provide crisis support and connection to 24/7 resources like the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
We provide services in English and Spanish. We're working to expand language capacity to include Korean, Tagalog, and other languages spoken in communities we serve. Interpretation services available upon request.
